My name is Ann Webster, and I'm ecstatic to serve as Sharples School's headteacher.
We urge all students to put in a lot of effort and set high goals in order to succeed academically and realise their aspirations for a fulfilling future profession.
Our main goal is to consistently offer top-notch learning and teaching opportunities so that every one of our students makes considerable improvement from where they started out.
As we educate our young people for the difficulties of a constantly changing world, Sharples demonstrates a daily commitment to its high expectations and no-excuses attitude.
All major accountability indicators for Sharples GCSE results in 2018 were above the national average, and our Progress 8 score of +0.44 was among the highest of any Bolton school.
Since we are aware that every student is unique in their abilities, requirements, and interests, we offer a broad, flexible curriculum that is reevaluated every year.
No of their background, gender, or political views, pupils are cared for at Sharples School.
By fostering tolerance and respect for oneself and others via our charter of Courtesy, Co-operation, Consideration, and Common Sense, we hope to prepare students to play a positive and helpful role in society after they leave our school.
All students are urged to be accountable for their own education and behaviour.
To maintain a calm and productive learning environment, the school enforces discipline with firmness and fairness.
We firmly believe that by partnering with both the home and the school, we can give every one of our kids the finest opportunity possible and help your child achieve academic and social success.
