From the Little Lever School
Being named Little Lever School's headteacher makes me very happy.
Little Lever is rated as a Good school by Ofsted (2012), and in my little time there, I have been impressed by the pupils' upbeat attitudes and their polite and respectful behaviour.
It's an exciting moment for Little Lever School and the kids and families we serve in the Little Lever neighbourhood, and I look forward to working with the rest of the staff to support our students in doing great things.
I think success comes from working hard and executing the basic tasks to the best of your ability.
The little things matter to me.
Understanding that everyone of our children has unique abilities and will process information and retain it in a variety of ways is essential to ensuring that we can satisfy their requirements.
A joyful and secure learning environment is created through fostering connections based on mutual respect and making sure each student feels recognised and cherished.
Academic success is crucial, but I believe that the skills students acquire and the resilience and resourcefulness they build along the way ensure that they are well-prepared for whatever journey they embark on in life.
