In the centre of Liverpool City Centre, there is a Catholic primary school with one form entry called Sacred Heart.
Just over 210 students, from Little Hearts (2 years old) to Year 6, are enrolled here.
This website seeks to introduce you to the institution while also regularly updating information for both parents and students.
As a Catholic school, our parish church and parish community are very important to us.
At Sacred Heart, Christ is at the very heart of everything we do.
We are pleased to be "the world in one school" because our students come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
It is crucial that all students are taught in a caring, joyful, secure environment.
In November 2014, Ofsted gave us "behaviour and safety" an excellent rating.
We have music, Spanish, and physical education specialists.
Every week, students in second grade and up receive a Spanish lesson.
All students in the second grade receive a weekly chess instruction during curricular time thanks to the assistance of Malcolm Pein's chess charity, "Chess in Schools and Communities."
We compete in several tournaments, are the top chess school in Liverpool, and have several students that compete for Merseyside at the county level.
At Sacred Heart, we are incredibly fortunate to work with a team that is both extremely committed and passionate.
