The community at Richard Taylor School is flourishing, joyful, and compassionate.
Since I have been the headteacher here for almost 11 years, I take great pride in the work we produce each day.
Our students are motivated to get involved in the community and care about their school.
The school has implemented a significant programme of building improvements over the past ten years.
A fantastic ICT and library-learning centre, as well as a gorgeous new entry and reception space, have been constructed.
We take great pride in the setting we have established as a venue for education.
We have made the most of our exceptional grounds by designing an outdoor classroom and several wonderful garden spaces for the kids to use.
For our dedication to environmental projects, the school has received the Woodland Trust Gold Award and a Gold Award from Harrogate in Bloom.
We adore sports, and our kids have the opportunity to take part in a broad variety of different sporting activities. In recent years, we have won awards in a variety of competitions, and for the past five years, we have held the Gold Mark for School Sport.
Our curriculum is extensive and varied, and we have won national distinction for our work in science and math proficiency.
We take great pride in being a fair trade school, which educates our students to consider a wider range of factors when making decisions.
