Since 1547, Crediton and the nearby villages have been served by Queen Elizabeth's School, or QE as it is commonly known. It is a secondary co-educational school educating students in the age range of 11 to 18. In Crediton, the school is located on two different campuses. Years 7 and 8 are housed on the Barnfield campus, which offers stunning views of Dartmoor across the hills. The wide spaces facilitate our younger students' transition from primary to secondary education by enabling them to thrive in a more intimate setting. Our sixth form and Years 7 through 11 are located on the Western Road campus.
