I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you to our website on behalf of the students, staff, and governing body of Our Lady and St. Swithin's Catholic Primary School. Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish and our primary school, which is thriving, active, and inviting, collaborate closely. We have more than 230 kids, ages three to eleven. We believe that we provide every child with the chances they are entitled to, regardless of their starting point or level of aptitude. We are incredibly fortunate to have amazing kids who are supported and guided by parents and carers who actively participate in our school. Our team members are committed to giving every kid the best possible experience. Our Mission statement cites that 'As a Catholic community centred on God's love, respecting all, we are committed to enable and encourage each person to be cared for in body, mind and spirit; ensuring each individual achieves their full potential in a secure and caring environment.'. My mission as Headteacher is to ensure that every child achieves to there full potential and that their curriculum which we offer allows the 'whole child' to thrive not just academically but in every facet of their development including spiritually, physically and morally. Our governing body is crucial to our success because they serve as our "critical friend," challenging and encouraging us to always be able to carry out our vision and principles. I sincerely hope you have found our website to be educational and useful, and I am looking forward to meeting you in person soon.
