Our school is a modest, welcoming institution that is situated to the north of Peterborough. The 1975 construction of the school resulted in first-rate indoor and outdoor amenities. From Reception (4 and 5 year olds) through Year 6, we have one class each year group (10 and 11 year olds). Our children are provided with a high standard of teaching and learning, up-to-date high quality resources and a wealth of rich and varied educational opportunities and experiences. Through developing children's confidence, self-belief and their academic knowledge, we endeavour to equip all pupils with the skills for a happy, successful and fulfilling life. At Norwood Primary School, we value all individuals in our community and have a commitment to ensuring good quality provision and outcomes for all. We foster a passion of learning and a thirst for knowledge through our innovative curriculum and the enthusiasm of adults. The foundational abilities of lifelong learning are consistently taught and acknowledged. Cavell Newton Darwin Hodgkin's motto was "Aim High, Never Give Up, Follow Your Dream, and Lead by Example."
