Beginning school is a critical moment for both kids and parents.
In the centre of Walworth, SE17, on the Aylesbury Estate is the primary school known as Michael Faraday.
It is a mixed-gender school with about 420 students, ages 3 to 11.
The institution is named for local resident and well-known chemist and physicist Michael Faraday.
From infancy to Year 6, each year group has two courses.
Our staff is well-trained and experienced, and they work efficiently to satisfy the needs of our students.
All full-time students have a 3:15 pm dismissal from class.
We instil in the students a sense of pride in both themselves and their institution.
The school strives to instil in the students a sense of social responsibility and respect for others in addition to academic success.
Our goal is to inspire every child to perform at their very best in all facets of school life.
The faculty and staff at Michael Faraday School value the diversity of our students' origins, countries of origin, races, and religions, as well as the fact that some of them speak languages other than English.
Everyone is urged to uphold and cherish the rights of others.
At this school, any form of racial harassment is prohibited, including the use of racial epithets.
No child or group of children should ever feel excluded from or inferior to other students.
In order for them to grow and realise their full potential, we want all students at this school to have equal chances in their academics, extracurricular activities, and interpersonal interactions.
