Merton Court, the oldest Preparatory School in Sidcup, was founded in 1899 as a result of the devoted and charitable vision of John Pearce and his wife Irene.
For more than a century, Merton Court School has remained committed to its founding principles and its motto, Omnia Strenue ('Strive above all'), benefiting from a long tradition of family leadership to produce exceptional life opportunities and keeping steadfast in a constantly shifting environment.
Merton Court has been owned and operated by the Price Family with her sons since Mrs. Elizabeth Price purchased the school in 1979 when it had 78 students.
In 1993, Dominic was appointed Head, and in 2016, Senior Partner/Proprietor.
