Welcome to the webpage for Lowther Endowed School.
Between Penrith and Shap in the charming Eden Valley village of Hackthorpe, Lowther Endowed School is conveniently situated.
Four classes make up our school.
In every year group, we have open spots.
We are fortunate to have top-notch interior spaces, such as a hall and spacious classrooms, as well as top-notch exterior spaces, such a playing field, a sizable wildlife area, and a playground.
In the neighbouring forest, the school has a designated place for Forest School.
Our meals are excellent!
We provide a wide variety of extracurricular activities, such as an exciting urban residential trip to Liverpool and an outdoor residential excursion to Lockerbie Manor.
We value physical education greatly and provide the kids the chance to experience a variety of sports, in addition to the more conventional school team activities, including orienteering, fencing, and archery.
