Welcome to the website of Long Ditton St. Mary's Church of England (Aided) Junior School, where we work to encourage students to be self-assured, brave, and compassionate members of a community that supports their growth in all spheres of life—academic, social, and spiritual. Christian values, which are held in common by people of all faiths and none, are the foundation of our ethos. We concentrate on the potential effects of these values on both our individual and social ways of living. At Long Ditton St. Mary's, we have a solid and dedicated staff that offers a wide range of educational opportunities through a stimulating curriculum. We encourage all of our kids to have active, inquisitive minds, healthy interpersonal relationships, and the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for the future and the dynamic world in which we live. We also take pride in being able to get to know the kids in our care very well because we are a small school. We cherish our relationships with parents and carers because we think they are crucial to a child's growth. We are appreciative of the time and skills that many parents and carers provide in order to improve the services offered at our school. Our school is supported and led by a strong and dedicated Governing Body, whose members freely devote their time while keeping the best interests of the students at the forefront of their considerations. The students at our school are, above all else, joyful, eager, open people who make teaching them a pleasure. It is a delight to see how they advance while they are studying at LDSM.
