From the Little Green Junior School
Since 1949, Little Green has played a significant role in Croxley Green, and we take great pride in our close ties to the neighbourhood and the affection that many villagers have for us. For kids in grades 3-6, we provide a unique setting among acres of grass and woods in the Hertfordshire countryside. Our high expectations of behaviour and attitudes to learning help us develop each child's potential using a creatively linked curriculum that ensures the key skills of reading, writing and maths are understood and explored in wider contexts such as outdoor learning. A large range of extracurricular options and fascinating events complement this. Our focus on developing resilience in our students throughout their time at the school, as well as the unique 3-form environment in which our children are able to become accustomed to moving between classes as they grow through the school, are two reasons why we are thrilled that Little Green students adapt particularly well through secondary school transition. Every child who enrols with us should believe they can succeed in a secure, nurturing environment. We are pleased with what Little Green has to offer and urge parents to join FOLG (Friends of Little Green) and share any unique knowledge or abilities they may have with the kids. We want every child to flourish in a supportive atmosphere. We sincerely hope you find what you're looking for on our website, whether you're a current parent or a future parent. If you have any questions about the suggestions on this website or how we may make Little Green an even better place to learn, please get in touch with us at the school. Visits to the school are highly encouraged and can be scheduled through the school office.
