Leighton Park is a leading co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11-18 based in Reading, Berkshire. We are a prestigious HMC school, 25 minutes from both London and Oxford, and a 30 minute taxi ride from London Heathrow.

Our distinctive approach has helped us win Senior School of the Year 2023 in the national Independent Schools Association (ISA) Awards, where we also won for the Award for Excellence in Pupil Personal Development 2022. This year we were also Finalists in the prestigious TES School Awards 2023.

The UK Government’s latest league table of academic progress in the Sixth Form places Leighton Park as the 14th best performing boarding school in England and one of only eight schools that has always been in the top 100.

Our student benefit from an enhanced Tutor system, with small tutor groups of only 11 students and students seeing their Tutors three times every day. Nearly 50% of our boarders are British and students benefit from five teachers living with them in their boarding house. We have students from 44 countries represented in the School.

The School is particularly well-known for our STEAM creative problem-solving academic approach and our exceptional music department.
