From the Langer Primary Academy
The Langer Primary Academy is located in lovely grounds with a wide playing field and includes climbing equipment for the kids to play on. There is also a specific area for the Reception class to utilise. The school is only a short distance from the seafront. Additionally, we have a wildlife area that we can use for science classes. The school, which has 7 classes, celebrated its 100th anniversary in September 2012. In addition to the main hall, the reception area has a specially designed Early Years setting, a library, an ICT suite, a Nurture room, activity rooms, and administrative offices. Disabled people can enter the building. With 156 students now enrolled, the school is both sizable enough to provide students with a variety of interesting options and intimate enough for staff to get to know each student and their unique requirements. We at Langer have high standards and offer a comprehensive, varied, and well-balanced curriculum. The development of the child as an individual, capable of independent learning and self-discipline, is prioritised over the acquisition of skills, information, and understanding. We take great satisfaction in our upbeat, welcoming environment and compassionate attitude. To foster a welcoming atmosphere and a sense of belonging, the entire school works collaboratively.
