I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you on our website on behalf of the students, teachers, and governors at Lady Bankes Junior School. The London Borough of Hillingdon's Ruislip Manor is home to the three-form entry Lady Bankes Junior School. There are now 331 kids on our rolls, ranging in age from seven to eleven. The school is close to bus and underground links and situated in a peaceful area of Ruislip Manor. It received a "good" rating from Ofsted after an inspection on April 25 and 26, 2017. Through federation, the school enjoys close ties to Lady Bankes Infant & Nursery School, with whom we share a beautiful Grade II listed building and a Governing Body. Everything we do at Lady Bankes Junior School is centred on learning. Everybody's participation is recognised, and we have great relationships with all the people in our school community, which makes for a happy and friendly atmosphere. A dedicated, proactive Governing Body, whose members carry out their responsibilities in a highly professional and encouraging manner, serves the school. Strategic management and accountability are made possible by the governors' commitment to the Lady Bankes Schools at all levels. Friends of Lady Bankes Schools (FOLBA), the parent organisation for the schools, raises money throughout the year with zeal and generosity to support projects at Lady Bankes Schools. As the headteacher of Lady Bankes Junior School, I have the honour of working in a dynamic learning environment. I'm hoping this website will provide you some insight into our amazing school life.
