From the IKB Academy
I am excited to announce IKB Academy, a fresh and cutting-edge educational strategy for students in Years 10 through 13. a concentration on teaching STEM subjects in modern, specialised facilities. a welcoming, loving environment that respects your individuality and your requirements. a novel style of teaching and learning that uses projects based on the needs of employers. the chance to collaborate closely with important local employers through coaching, shadowing, and work experience. We are an inclusive school that meets the unique needs of each of our kids. Our enrollment is purposely kept small because we believe that strong professional relationships can both support and challenge students. All of our students will be valued for their contributions, and we'll work to foster a positive, trusting environment where we can all have fun and work together to accomplish great things. IKB is an exciting option for students in Yr 10 and 12 (as of September 2015), but it is not an easy option. When students enter IKB, we will raise their expectations so that, when they graduate, they will realise these expectations and compete with the best for university admissions, apprenticeships, work, or training in their chosen field. We encourage applications from all students who have a desire for these areas as we are an inclusive school and can set up meetings to talk about your possibilities with you. To schedule a visit, kindly use the online application form on this website or the contact information provided below.
