From the School
In Sidcup, a neighbourhood in the Bexley borough, there is a well-liked secondary academy for boys ages 11 to 16 called Hurstmere School.
Our school provides a welcoming environment for learning that embraces diversity.
Each and every one of our pupils will receive the greatest education we can give them.
giving pupils a variety of opportunities to learn in a secure, encouraging, creative, and joyful setting
We think it's crucial that school be a demanding, motivating, and transformative experience.
Additionally, we think that it should assist parents in establishing a moral code for pupils to live by and that students perform at their highest level when they feel supported, secure, and content.
Along with the standard school curriculum, this is targeted through a variety of Learning for Life and extracurricular initiatives.
After recently approving a proposal from the Youth Sports Trust to include the Northern half of the borough in our extremely successful and long-established School Games Network, Hurstmere School now sponsors the School Games programme for the entire Borough of Bexley.
