This message is reinforced by special guests including police officers and neighbourhood magistrates.
In a safe, secure, and encouraging environment like that provided by Heathside School, kids are actively encouraged to make their own decisions.
Through a safe environment and an empowering education, Heathside School staff teaches and sets boundaries for children to make informed decisions.
Students are instructed on how to use their rights and personal freedoms securely, for instance through e-safety and tutorial activities, and are encouraged to know, understand, and exercise these rights and freedoms.
With a strong anti-bullying culture and a thorough Behaviour for Learning Policy in place, Heathside enables students to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.
The mission statement and values of Heathside School include a heavy emphasis on respect.
The fundamental tenet of the school is Give Respect, Gain Respect.
