Welcome to the HHPS website, and if you're reading all about us, we hope you'll visit our school in the future. This year, I moved to Harrowgate Hill for the first time, and I adore it. After twenty years of teaching in the South East, during which I served as head of two further Primary Schools, I recently relocated back to the North. The staff and students at HHPS are among the friendliest and most welcome I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and I don't just say that because I work here. I am a native of Scotland, and I love Doctor Who, cats, and everything Marvel and DC. In order for our kids to be as enthusiastic about something they love, I'm working to help them discover their hobbies and aspirations. In our weekly celebration assembly, we cultivate the rising love of facts in our school. Did you know, for instance, that a crocodile cannot stick its tongue out? We know this stuff because each week a different pupil shares their fascinating facts in assembly and now we literally know hundreds of them :-). If you are considering enrolling your child at HHPS, I hope you will visit us in person because we are far more impressive in person than we are online. You can schedule a meeting with the school office at any time, and we hope you'll think about joining the HHPS community:-).
