Hall Meadow Primary School

At Hall Meadow, we encourage excellence across the board and from all residents of our neighbourhood. We honour and value the individuality of every person. We collaborate to build a dynamic, loving, and excellent environment that supports self-sustaining lifelong learning. The four Rs—Respect, Responsibility, Reflection, and Resilience—are taught and practised at Hall Meadow. Through Resilience we want our children to show a 'try, try again' attitude towards their learning and to have the social and emotional strength to learn from failure and use this to develop their learning and characters. We teach the kids to assume the proper level of accountability for all aspects of their education and conduct in a setting that fosters individual growth and increases self-esteem. Our community as a whole promotes respect and tolerance for the rights, convictions, and values of all who live in our homes, schools, and multicultural society. Reflection and evaluation about our learning experiences, changing technology, our work and how we communicate is an integral part of our practice. Our goal is to help the kids make wise decisions and make effective plans for the future through an innovative, and more child-initiated curriculum. We want the kids at Hall Meadow to grow up to be independent, self-assured learners who choose to learn.
