We want the parents and legal representatives of our students to be fully informed about life and progress at the college.
It's likely that additional faculty members will contact you or your children via phone or email. Your children may also have personal coaches.
College students must learn to take charge of their own study, which is a considerable difference from being in Year 11.
When necessary, students should ask their professors, private coaches, senior tutors, the student support manager, and/or counsellors for advice and support.
They should inform their individual coach of any changes to their personal situation, such as a new phone number or a problem in their family.
Members of the teaching staff comment on student achievement at least four times a year.
Each student's growth and achievements are tracked via the Student Tracking & Reporting System (STaRS).
A certification from Skills for Success ensures that students comprehend the demands of their course, pick up the required skills, and successfully transition from high school to college.
The name of your child's specific coach should be noted down and used as a reference whenever you communicate with us.
It is necessary for students to show up on time for classes, tutorials, and tests.
Every student at Halesowen College has a different set of circumstances, which is something we are conscious of.
