We will build on the strengths and experiences of Haberdashers' Abraham Darby and Adams' Grammar School, so that our students become independent learners, fully equipped for the opportunities, challenges and responsibilities of adult life in the 21st century and well prepared to be the leaders, professionals and parents of tomorrow. In September 2008, Haberdashers' Abraham Darby debuted as a brand-new academy. It is an independent state academy; a company limited by guarantee and linked to Haberdashers' Adams Grammar School, Newport in a loose Federation. The Haberdashers' Livery Company and Telford and Wrekin LA are Abraham Darby's sponsors.
