Although there is no mandatory dress code for sixth form students, you are free to wear whatever you choose as long as it is appropriate for the workplace and does not get in the way of your main goals of learning and success. All Sixth Form students are expected to behave as role models for our younger students, as representatives of the school in the local and global community, and to dress appropriately. In order to do this, it is forbidden to wear apparel that might offend someone else (via text, graphics, or being overly revealing). short shorts and miniskirts (no more than 6" from the bottom of the knee). strappy or cropped tops (must have sleeves short or long). Unnatural hair colours or styles as well as excessive body piercings are not authorised. At the beginning of each lesson and while at Frome Futures, coats and other outdoor attire should be promptly removed. Students should adhere to the expectations of that department, for example, science prohibits any footwear that does not cover the entire foot and shorts. Other disciplines may have additional attire requirements for health and safety reasons.
