The co-operative trust school at the centre of the neighbourhood is called Foundry Lane. Our school's motto is "Working Together," and it is based on a solid set of ideals. In order to give the kids with a dynamic range of educational possibilities within the safe environment offered by the school, parents, governors, and staff work closely as a team. We are founder members of the Southampton Co-operative Learning Trust and have formed numerous collaborations to improve both the education of our own children and the education of children in the neighbourhood. To better the education of all of our students, we collaborate closely with a growing number of neighbourhood schools through the trust. This trust was established utilising a cooperative approach, which gives all stakeholders a voice in how the schools are operated. Strong networks exist both domestically and internationally for cooperative schools. Two of our kids created the logo for our school. The school building depicted there is a representation of our long history of upholding the highest standards and of our reputable position in the neighbourhood. The two images, one large and one small, depict how our older children and adults look out for and encourage the younger ones. We have three classrooms in each year, from R to Year 6, and we are a three-form entry school. Even though the school has grown to be a sizable primary school, we are known for our warm, welcoming environment and strive to foster a collaboration between family and school since we think that a child's education is a joint effort. In any manner you can, we hope you'll be actively involved.
