Greetings and thanks for visiting the website of Forefield Community Infant & Nursery School.
We aim that students will follow their existing hobbies, discover new ones, and hone their unique abilities through a variety of options, including film, painting, sign language, origami, tennis, singing, dancing, Spanish, gardening club, enterprise club, and school council, to mention a few.
To give our students the best possible education, we collaborate closely with a variety of community partners.
Key partners include our partner Junior School, which ensures a smooth transition for our children into Y3 and the next stage of their learning journey; the Local Authority Specialist Inclusion Service and healthcare professionals to enable us to provide for all children's needs; and All Saints Children's Ventures, which offers high quality, wraparound childcare on the school site and offers pre-school places and wraparound care at All Saint's Church Hall for children from 2 years of age.
We collaborate with nearby Crosby schools, including Chesterfield Specialist Sports College, where the majority of our kids transfer when they become 11 years old.
Additionally, we have unique collaborations with schools in Spain, China, and India, which enhances and guarantees the quality of our offering.
However, we respect the intimate bond we share with our parents, who rank as our most significant partners.
To achieve the best outcomes for every child at Forefield, we are aware that teamwork is essential.
Through celebration assemblies, Family Learning Days, parent workshops and courses, Parent Consultation Meetings, parent helpers in classrooms and on school visits, and FOFIS our PTA, we welcome opportunities to involve parents in the life of the school because we know that we cannot play our role as effectively without this crucial support.
Last but not least, Forefield is incredibly lucky to have a staff team that is warm, personable, and exceptionally professional, supported by a Governing Body that is equally effective and wholly dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
They put forth a lot of effort to make sure that kids enter the junior school as capable students who are prepared intellectually, socially, emotionally, and psychologically for the next phase of their lifelong learning journey.
We hope this website is informative and provides a taste of Forefield.
We regularly host visits of the school for potential parents so they can observe us "in action."
Please get in touch with the school office if you have any questions or would want to learn more about Forefield firsthand. We will be pleased to assist you.
