From the St John's Church of England Primary School
We at St. John's Church of England Primary School think it's critical to instil fundamental Christian principles in children in order to foster moral and spiritual awareness. Values are the things that guide our behaviour decisions and serve as the foundation for our beliefs. They serve as our guiding principles in life. Values Education is a set of tools that you will use throughout your life; it is not only something that helps you learn while you are younger. At St. John's C.E. Primary School, we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to feel appreciated since it is a special feeling. We reviewed our beliefs with the help of the entire school community the previous year. Six additional values were ultimately decided upon as a result. To ensure that we completely comprehend how we can live out and experience each value, we shall concentrate on one during each half-term. Our kids will receive J.O.Y. Challenges every week to get them to reflect on living up to our school's ideals. Every half term, we will also send home a home school values sheet that is packed with activities to explore your family's values and have fun. The sheets listed below can also be downloaded. 'As you would have others do unto you, so be it unto you.' Mat. 7:12. Give thanks to the Lord because he is good and his love never fails. 16:34 in 1 Chronicles. Dress yourself in love, humility, patience, compassion, and gentleness. 1 Corinthians 3:12. "My God is my strength," I declare. Psalm 18:2.
