From the Fairfax
Due to our adherence to the motto "Sinceritas Laboris," there is dignity in labour, the Academy consistently achieves good exam scores at both the GCSE and Post-16 levels. No matter where a child starts, the Academy's professional and knowledgeable personnel make sure that every student is encouraged to maximise academic success. The core of our school is our House structure, which has been in operation for at least 60 years. This dedication to our school's traditions makes sure that every kid has the chance to take part in activities that help them grow as individuals. These events include our yearly Eisteddfod, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Program, regional and varsity athletic competitions, and several artistic presentations. According to my own belief, every student should graduate from high school feeling proud of the young adult they have grown into. I think we can accomplish this by holding all of our students to high standards for their attendance, behaviour, courtesies, and academic performance. The Academy wants to encourage students to feel proud of themselves by having them take personal responsibility for achieving excellence! We take great pride in being Fairfax! .

My daughter left Fairfax about a year ago, I’d sent her there as I’d seen good reviews online, and we live not far away. I’d hoped that it’d be a fresh start as we had to move houses due to a rough neighbourhood. I thought maybe the children and teachers would be better, but I was wrong. The teachers barely do anything except consequence, but there are some nice ones she said. From my daughter’s...
