Eversholt Lower School

The school, which was established in 1850 thanks to the donations of locals, has a long history of educating kids from nearby areas.
Eversholt blends this deep appreciation for local history with a cutting-edge teaching philosophy that acknowledges that every kid is an individual with specific needs for academic help or intellectual challenge.
Our goal is for every student to graduate with high standards across the board, but as important is the development of self-motivation, excitement, and a love of learning.
We at Eversholt Lower School generate enthusiasm by pushing the envelope, coming up with ideas, and resolving issues.
Our school's standards have been acknowledged by Ofsted, who gave us a "Outstanding" rating in 24 of 25 categories in their most recent assessment.
The Central Bedfordshire Council reaffirmed this school's overall evaluation in July 2011.
Since then, we've improved our performance even more, achieving 100% on tests that included phonics.
This places our outcomes in the top 3% of all primaries nationwide.
We accomplish this by fusing a dynamic and imaginative curriculum with a rich profile of extracurricular activities, allowing kids to fully develop their skills.
Our approach is centred on integrating instructional strategies and teaching styles that encourage children to think creatively into our curriculum.
