SEN
From the School
I wanted to be the kind of teacher I had imagined having when I first started teaching.
In my opinion as Headmaster, Embley is the kind of institution that students and their families desire.
We think that every child is special and deserves to have that acknowledged as they mature.
We have high academic expectations for our kids and encourage them to do their best work.
Errors are regarded as opportunities for improvement.
We expect all our pupils to develop independence, responsibility and a spirit of enquiry from a young age but we cannot foster these ideals without giving our children a meaningful opportunity to practise them.
Our kids have the chance to shine and leave us with a character that will guide them for the rest of their lives.
Our pupils leave for the outside world with a feeling of direction.
