What We Do The East Manchester Academy, a member of the Education and Leadership Trust, is an 11–16 high school with 970 pupils that is situated in the centre of East Manchester. In the Beswick neighbourhood of Manchester, the East Manchester Academy is a mixed-gender school. Due to a significant oversubscription, we began our inaugural academic year in September 2010 with a full cohort of Year 7 students. Due to our dedication to achieving the greatest results for our students and the community we serve, we have developed into a very successful community academy. With the assistance and sharing of best practises accessible across our partner schools, our academy has been enhanced even more since we joined the Education and Leadership Trust in 2016. The Etihad Stadium overlooks outside football fields (home of Manchester City FC). A Multi-use Space (MUS), which gives us a highly versatile area for sports events and performances, assemblies, presentation evenings and whole-staff training and development.
