A new Air Quality Group at the school is run by the administration and parents.
Dulwich Safer Routes to School and the Air Quality Group collaborate, and a representative of the school community often attends their meetings.
The DVIS Air Quality Group is currently working on planting green screens at each location, making sure they are watered, and raising money for the planting and air filters in the classroom.
The school community joins together each term to put love into action!
The work party's purpose is to come together to complete practical activities around the school and truly embrace it!
Every other week since January 2019, small groups of Year Two students have been going to Kings College Hospital to cheer up some of the hospital's more elderly patients.
Both the young and the old have been greatly influenced by the art.
It has given the kids ideas for future careers, encouraged them to consider others, helped them become better questioners, and allowed them to draw alongside people they might not typically do so.
Over the past eight years, instructors have visited Uganda to support the staff and students at Cherish Primary School because of the outstanding support from parents and the community.
Cherish was established in February 2011 to assist underprivileged kids in the neighbourhood who weren't attending school.
Other training has addressed leadership development, questioning techniques, how to use student voice, and building a supportive learning environment.
All of this is still made possible by the staff's continued contributions of time and money, as well as the kind donations made to our fundraising efforts by Dulwich Village C of E Infants School parents and friends.

In order to achieve our mission of "flourishing with God in life, learning, and love," we work to foster courageous advocacy through our interactions with others, the encouragement of opportunities to confront social injustice and inequality, and the encouragement of opportunities for adults and children to work together to speak out about how we should take care of our environment, our neighbours, and ourselves.
When we think about and take action to help others, we are defending them and bringing attention to their needs.
In this process we often find we are changed and hope that it changes the lives of others too.
We want the children at DVIS to start to develop their understanding of what disadvantage, deprivation and exploitation of the natural world looks like and what's more, ask questions about it, challenge it and try to make a difference in changing it.
39 The second most important commandment is like it: Love your neighbour as you love yourself.
