We take great pride in being a high-achieving institution that gives all of its students access to so many fascinating opportunities. The teaching staff and pastoral care provided here are superb, and the school has high expectations for both itself and its students. While being pushed to do their best work, students are given excellent care. In its evaluation of the school's performance in 2014, Ofsted praised its exceptional leadership at all levels. The school is still doing well, according to our most recent Ofsted brief inspection report from 2018 It was written to me in a letter that read: "Excellence, tradition, and inventiveness, the school's motto, serve as the foundation for everything. You and your colleagues have established a welcoming and compassionate community ". Our Progress 8 score was tied for the highest in Bury according to the results of the 2017 GCSE exams. These successes are a credit to our staff's talent, diligence, and dedication. The Derby High School is a genuinely exceptional institution. A fundamental characteristic of this school is the strong bonds that exist between and among the staff and kids, ensuring that everyone who works here views the classroom as a joyful and supportive environment. Additionally, because to the unique experiences provided, our students are able to graduate from our programme as self-assured, well-rounded, and forward-thinking young adults ready to make a difference in both their own and others' lives.
