I hope you all had a wonderful summer holiday and that your kids are prepared to start school again on September 4th.
Anyone arriving beyond this time will be recognised as arriving late in the register with following consequences to reflect wasted time. The school gates open at 15 and the school day begins at 8.45.
Wearing the full Daubeney uniform and black shoes is required at all times, especially during physical education. Each student is required to carry a water bottle to class that can be filled at the water fountain during break and lunch.
Appointments However, if an urgent appointment must be made during the school day, we will need to see documentation of the appointment for our records. I ask that all appointments be scheduled outside of school hours.
Additionally, we ask that you let your kid know what time they must arrive at the office to be picked up.
This is done to make sure that kids finish their lunch before the start of period 5.
Please let your child know that in order to meet this deadline, they must stay in the lunch line.
All students will have the chance to go on school trips if they are appropriate for their studies or the grade they are in and trips will vary throughout the year.
However, attendance, conduct, and punctuality during the academic year will all be taken into consideration before acceptance into any school trips.
Family Mail Please make sure that the school has your most recent email address and that you are logged into Parent Mail because Daubeney is a cashless school and all payments must be made there.
