From the Darell Primary and Nursery School
We are a welcoming and encouraging school, and we put the needs of the person at the centre of everything we do. For our children of all ages and abilities, we have high expectations. Our diligent and dedicated staff members work in close collaboration with parents, carers, and students to help each student achieve their full potential in both academic and extracurricular activities. Our special area of expertise is assisting our youngest students in Nursery and Reception to acquire the foundational abilities required for academic success and active participation. The music programme at Darell is an integral aspect of the educational experience. We invite visitors into our school to get to know our students. Each year, we welcome inspiring authors, musicians, and dancers, and our extensive extracurricular programmes provide students the chance to learn languages, make art, play instruments, and participate in sports. We put a lot of effort into making sure that our kids feel comfortable enough to take risks and make errors, both of which are crucial components of learning. We lay the groundwork for our children to grow into tolerant, devoted, and self-assured citizens by teaching them moral ideals. Take a look around our website. We hope you will gain an understanding of what we have to offer your kids at Darell by looking through the pages and pictures showcasing our activities. What our website cannot show you, however, is our supportive and encouraging ethos and the sense of excitement our children have developed for learning. Please sign up for one of our school tours by getting in touch with the front office if you want to see this for yourself. We are eager to introduce ourselves to you and show you what Darell has to offer for your kids.
