Our school community is centred on our Catholic religion, and everything we do is based on the principles that Jesus declared in the Gospels. Every day, we pray together at the beginning and the end of the day, and we also perform a group worship act during every assembly. Every week and at significant times during the school year, we all come together to celebrate Mass in our chapel. Every academic year, we hold a mass of gratitude for the entire school in our sports hall. Along with regular prayers for Our Lady, we also celebrate Christmas and Easter with special services. We place a great value on all children, including those of different faiths, developing their faith, and we encourage all of our students to grow in their respect for one another and for one another's beliefs. Our chaplain plans a variety of activities for students to enrich their religion, and he is always available to support students on their spiritual path. There are retreats to Castlerigg, visits to Ladyewell and pilgrimages to Lourdes and Rome as well as many opportunities for pupils to be actively involved in living out their faith through charitable works and fundraising.
