At the City of London Academy Highgate Hill, we think that if the correct conditions are created, all students can succeed academically and develop into contributing members of their local, national, and international communities. As a result, we work to provide a serene and focused learning atmosphere supported by high standards throughout the academy. Students are expected to put in a lot of effort and display tenacity and dedication to their academics. We offer chances to encourage academic, creative, sports, linguistic, and personal accomplishment through high-quality teaching and support systems provided by our sponsor, the City of London Corporation. This is known as "the City experience." All children are given a free musical instrument when they join us in Year 7 as part of our effort to foster pupils' creative ability. These instruments include the cello, flute, viola, or violin. For the first three years of study with us, students receive free music tuition. The Music in Secondary School Trust is funding this. Our brand-new orchestra has already given performances at Goldsmith College and the Barbican. I feel incredibly privileged to be the head of this magnificent academy with its dedicated faculty, hardworking staff, encouraging parents, and solid governing board. Our website is hopefully helpful to you. You are welcome to schedule a meeting with me at the academy, and I will encourage you to do so. [email protected] should be emailed.
