From the Beacon High
The school has a distinct and very clear ethos, which is to provide all of our learners whatever their starting point, with a fully rounded learning experience both inside and outside of the classroom.
With a healthy mix of boys and girls from all racial and socioeconomic backgrounds in our borough, we take pride in reflecting the demographics of our neighbourhood.
Our academic programme is the centre of school life and makes sure that every student has the chance to study intellectual subjects.
Whilst we want all our students to leave Beacon High with the currency they need to access the next stage of their education and to have an unrelenting focus on hard work and discipline, we know that getting great exam results is only half of a good education.
All of our Year 7 and 8 children take violin lessons, and we have fantastic facilities and outdoor space, including a swimming pool.
We put a lot of focus on holding all of our pupils to the highest standards.
At Beacon High, we count on our students to do their finest work.
We are confident that our students will respond to boundaries and a vision that are both clear.
If we inspire our pupils to believe in themselves and demonstrate our own confidence in them, their potential for success is unbounded.
Our children will graduate from school with not only academic qualifications but also with a sense of assurance, maturity, and readiness to succeed.

Beacon High Reviews

Do not send your child here if they have any SEN they will be relentlessly bullied to the point of being suicidal by the rude and unruly children they allow in the school and the school seem to brush this behaviour under the carpet or side with the bullies. If you have a rude unruly child then this school is perfect for them, otherwise avoid like the plague!!
