Welcome to Christ Church C of E Infant & Nursery School. Christ Church Infant and Nursery School is completely focused on the younger age range and this allows the school to be a beacon of early years learning in Newark. We are a small friendly school, our christian ethos is at the heart of all we do. We work hard to be a inclusive caring community where we value all of our pupils. We believe that we should be approachable and strive to work in partnership with parents and carers to provide the best education for our pupils. The school has a really exciting approach to the early year's curriculum which we call "Planning in the Moment" This centres learning around the children's interests and provides a solid foundation for further learning. In Key Stage One we have introduced the Cornerstones creative curriculum with a new Imaginative learning project each half term. Our nursery unit now takes 3 year olds from 9am to 12 midday. Children now start the term after they reach their third birthday. Please contact school for further details. We work in collaboration with Coddington Primary School and work closely together sharing curriculum and expertise. Please look at our Facebook page- it has lots of photos of the exciting things the school gets up to. If you are looking for a friendly creative school for your child please get in touch to book a visit.
