From the Cathedral Primary School
In the centre of Bristol, close to numerous historical and cultural sites, sits Cathedral Primary School. The school was temporarily located in the Bristol Cathedral Choir School's premises for four years. The school moved to the Central Library's lower levels as of September 2017. We are very proud of the relationship with Bristol Cathedral Choir School, our sister secondary school, and all the musical tradition and achievements, actively nurturing an appreciation of all genres of music among our children. Cathedral Primary School also benefits from the vast amount of space at Failand Sports Ground which is used to develop Athletic and Games skills and the woodland areas have been developed for Forest School activities. Every year since we opened in September 2013, we have welcomed a fresh cohort of kids. We switched to using a two-form entry system in September 2016. We cherish the diverse social and cultural backgrounds that are reflected in our school very much. We actively look for occasions to celebrate the diversity of our neighbourhood, city, and the entire world.
