Welcome to the Caldew Lea Primary Schools website. For the past 125 years, our school has been educating the children of west Carlisle; we are a school that actually acts as the hub of the community. As a top-notch professional team, we are committed to giving our amazing children a stimulating, energetic, and relevant education. Because we genuinely believe that every single child has potential, we strive every day to ensure that they are all given the opportunity in life they need to be the best versions of themselves. Caldew Lea started working for Cumbria Education Trust in October 2019. To secure the best results for our kids, we are in a unique position in the history of our school to collaborate constructively and meaningfully with our partner Trust Primary Schools. Our actions are guided by three guiding principles: respect, responsibility, and resilience. Giving every student at Caldew Lea Primary School the best opportunity to flourish in a secure, caring, and compassionate learning environment is my unchanging commitment as headmaster. We are making quick progress toward long-term school improvement as a whole school community because we have a common purpose.
