Welcome to Newlaithes Infant School, a caring institution where we strive for a collaborative effort between parents, teachers, governors, and students to make learning enjoyable. As a cohesive team, we work hard to create a fascinating and safe atmosphere where students may learn, advance, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning. We take great satisfaction in being a welcoming, joyful school. Our goal is to create a positive atmosphere for all kids. Strong focus is placed on sharing, showing kindness to others, and respecting others' rights and property. The very supportive approach of staff generates classrooms where students feel content, protected, and prepared to learn, according to Ofsted inspectors from April 2013. All of our personnel, including lunchtime supervisors, has received training in our positive approach to behaviour control. There aren't many regulations at school, but those that do exist are meant to teach kids to respect others and their property while also keeping everyone safe. The kids create their own class promise with the teacher's assistance to indicate how they envision their classroom.
