At Buxton Junior School, we are fortunate to have a terrific staff team that is sensitive to the requirements of all of our students.
We encourage every child to be curious, involved, and interested in the world around them from 9.05 am to 3.35 pm and from Year 3 to Year 6.
The students at Buxton Junior School are upbeat, joyful, and curious about everything.
To ensure that every child at Buxton Junior School thrives and makes good progress, ready to leave with the appropriate skills and positive attitudes for secondary school and beyond, we believe that strong relationships with parents and carers are essential to the success of the school. My 13 year old went here and her sister is currently a student. Youngest is in the feeder school, Buxton Infant school. My two daughters thrived there, excellent teachers, good facilities that continue to be improved with active play areas in the school yard, mini garden, very active PTA. We have had no instances of bullying and the family support teachers are brilliant. My younger daughter has really bad anxiety but was supported by all...
I give one star cause doesn't give me the chance to rate them with 0 stars. Head of school Mrs. Roos Carter and the family support worker Jo travers-muir both like to nose into familes personal lifes, both lie to the ofsted and jo Travers-muir should go down for threatening behaviour and for getting involved with some families to much.
