In all of its endeavours, Buttershaw Business and Enterprise College prioritises the individual student and works to make sure that each student is secure, content, and successful. As part of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT) we are committed to inclusion and achievement for all and are able to achieve our goals through utilising a powerful network of Bradford Schools with the same ambition. With new possibilities, facilities, and technologies, our magnificent $26 million structure has transformed learning for the better for the school and the South Bradford neighbourhood. There are classes for students with special learning difficulties as well as those who are university bound in this very interesting and cutting-edge curriculum. We genuinely take great pride in our inclusive mindset and dedication to helping every child realise their full potential. Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) strategy, which includes the prestigious Centre for Emerging Sciences, Engineering & Technology (CESET) based at the University of Bradford and also includes support from significant local businesses, places a special emphasis on employability skills. Pastoral care is a top focus, and we make sure that every student, no matter what their goals or talents, is known and cared for. We have a good local reputation for the calibre of our work in this area, and it is growing. The development of appropriate attitudes and skills for adult life is our top priority. We achieve this by committing to teaching and exemplifying the fundamental principles of compassion, honesty, fairness, wisdom, and ambition—principles that we all agree are crucial.
