From the Brambles Primary Academy
There are now 329 students enrolled in Brambles Primary Academy, which is situated on the Brambles Farm estate in Middlesbrough.
We have a total of 16 courses, and each year group is accompanied by learning assistants, allowing us to give each of our students a high level of individualised attention.
The guiding principle at Brambles Primary Academy is "Learning together; growing together; making a difference."
This expresses our conviction that, as members of the Tees Valley Education Trust, it is our goal to create a community of learners who, through engaging instruction, devoted teamwork, and a persistent pursuit of improvement, realise their full potential.
The Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 are the three phases that make up the academy.
Each year group, with the exception of Nursery, has a two-form entrance system with a cap on the number of admissions every year of 45.
Our inclusive approach and well-established pastoral care system enable us to integrate our kids as much as possible and have produced a nurturing environment that fosters effective, self-assured learners in young people.
Make an environment that is engaging and stimulating, reflects our values, and fosters both a sense of belonging in the group and a personal sense of self-worth.
Create a culture of lifelong learners where having access to knowledge is a privilege and an acknowledged accomplishment.
We think that encouraging inquiry and curiosity, zeal and challenge, sharing and learning together, accepting and welcoming of diversity, openness, self-respect, and perseverance is the most efficient method to accomplish these goals.
We invite you into a partnership with us if you would like your child to attend Brambles Primary Academy. We also encourage you to learn more by speaking with our staff, parents, and of course the students themselves.
We are extremely proud of our students because they are our best representatives.
We are eager to collaborate with you and your family.
Our academy's mascot, Honker the Goose, is well-represented in activities.
Each goose's wing flap produces a "uplift" for the birds that follow when they fly in formation.
This tells us that: People who have a common goal and sense of community can move farther and faster together because they are riding each other's momentum.
A goose suddenly experiences the drag and difficulty of flying alone when it breaks away from its group.
This instructs us to stay in formation with individuals who are moving in the direction we wish to go if we have the common sense of a goose.
This instructs us to stay in formation with individuals who are moving in the direction we wish to go if we have the common sense of a goose.
We are prepared to accept their assistance and extend it to others.
A different goose takes flight to take the lead position when the lead bird tired, rotating back into formation.
This shows us that it's beneficial to divide up the difficult responsibilities and exercise shared leadership.
People are depending on one another's abilities, skills, and special combinations of resources, much like geese are.
The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep their speed.
When a goose gets sick, wounded or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it to help and protect it.
This teaches us that: If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.
