From the Blenheim Primary School
At Blenheim, we think that geography can pique students' interest in the planet and its inhabitants.
We believe it's critical to foster their capacity for logical inquiry and questioning in order to aid them in making sense of what they observe.
Geography is covered in Reception as part of the "Understanding the World" curriculum subject, which offers connections to science and history.
Key Stage 2 students study North and South America, as well as Europe, in addition to their local location.
We want to develop in our kids a passion of inquiry and research via the teaching of geography.
We hope to inspire our students to actively participate in improving and safeguarding this world as they grow older.
At Blenheim, we want every student to have a grasp of history and how it will influence their future.
Children will learn about the past in Key Stage 1.
The local area's key historical events will also be taught to the kids.
The children's education is organised chronologically.
Children will continue to value history in a chronological framework in Key Stage 2.
They will strive to gain knowledge of British, local, and global history.
There will also be a strong emphasis on the various sources and how they impact our understanding of the past.
The goal of our excellent history lectures is to foster critical thinking while also assisting the students in developing a sense of their own identity within a social, political, cultural, and economic context.
