I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to you at The Bishop of Winchester Academy. Families in Bournemouth can send their children to The Academy, a Church of England school, if they wish them to get an education with a distinctly Christian character. Our most recent Ofsted report, which found that a rising number of kids are making Outstanding progress, makes us extremely proud. The curriculum, governance, student behaviour, leadership, and management were all listed in the report as outstanding. Since its inception, "The Academy has made remarkable strides in improving student achievement, attendance, and behaviour." 2013 (Ofsted July). We are quite thrilled about our new structures. Modern schools with top-notch resources now have happy students. Most students today hope to continue their study in our innovative new 6th Form, which opened in September 2014. All year groups of the academy are oversubscribed due to its enormous popularity. Visitors frequently praise the welcoming, joyful, and purposeful atmosphere that defines our community. Our pupils take pride in their institution. At every chance, we honour our students. To be trusted with assisting in determining their futures is incredibly humbling. We do not take that trust lightly. I am always happy to show parents around our school. Please feel welcome to visit us and see us at work, I would be happy to take you on a tour personally. Thank you to our many friends and families for their continued support and prayers. Your valued contributions really do help us to make a difference to the young lives of those we serve.
