I would like to extend a sincere welcome to Birchwood Primary School on behalf of the students, teachers, governors, and the entire school community. We are incredibly proud of everything that happens at Birchwood. Every child is valuable to us, and we make care to support their unique interests and experiences. Our curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to allow us to instruct in a unique and motivating approach. Because;, we are confident that this educational philosophy meets the needs of all students in the classroom and that it is effective. Students achieve amazing results. Students with generally average academic achievement start the school in Reception. Pupils graduate from Birchwood with achievement levels that are higher than those of their classmates nationwide as a result of excellent teaching, learning, and evaluation across time. Our curriculum journey has led us to become ambassadors in key areas we excel e.g. Eco Green Flag School (7 years running), Suffolk School of Sporting Excellence 2016 and 2018 - Association for PE Quality We are honoured to receive the distinction of the Food for Life Partnership GOLD award (one of only 15 in the nation), onsite Forest School, to name a few. Mark with distinction. We provide a wide choice of extra clubs, activities, assistance, and extension programmes for kids to take part in, and our staff team is always looking into and embracing new ideas.
