From the Beechwood Sacred Heart School
Less than an hour from London, Beechwood Sacred Heart School is located in the heart of Tunbridge Wells on 23 acres of gorgeous countryside. The school is housed in an opulent Victorian mansion designed to resemble Queen Victoria's Isle of Wight palace, Osborne House, and constructed in 1855. Beechwood is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 3 -18, which comprises a Pre-Prep, Preparatory and Senior School. It is a dynamic, joyful institution with a clear mission where excellence and a passion for learning are fostered. A team of three inspectors from the ISI spent two days at Beechwood on 31 January and 1 February assessing everything from the health and welfare of students to the quality of the management of the school. Regulatory Compliance Inspections are this kind of inspection (RCI). The National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools (2015), the schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations (2014), and the pertinent requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage were all attested to by ISI inspectors as being fully met by Beechwood, demonstrating the excellent education provided there.
