Being the headteacher of Becontree, a school that puts kids and their learning at the centre of everything we do, makes me incredibly proud. Respect for One Another is our school's motto, and every member of our school community is expected to uphold these three principles. We think a lot and work really hard because everyone here wants what is best for every child. We are constantly seeking to understand why we do what we do and how we may improve. Teamwork is very important to us because we know that we can do things better by working together with others; our children and their families, governors, staff, local community, other schools and professionals all make a positive difference to our school. Please visit our website, or even better, stop by in person, to discover more about our school and what's important to us. The school office can offer hard copies of documents. Please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] or by phone at 020 8270 4900 if you need a copy or any other information.
