This is Beaminster St. Mary's Academy, welcome. For more than 40 years, St. Mary's School has served the community of Beaminster. In the spring of 2014, St. Mary's changed its status from a school to an academy. As an academy, we now have the advantages of continuing to collaborate with the Beaminster Pyramid of Schools and being a part of a group of schools run by the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust. This implies that we can interact with a variety of schools to share knowledge and skills, organise events for music and sport, and much more. We are fortunate to have a staff at the Academy that put in a lot of effort and are committed to helping all of our students realise their full potential while also keeping them safe, happy, and enthusiastic about learning. Our mission is to "place children first; belonging and building together," and we achieve this by putting kids at the centre of all we do. Because we are a church school, we strive to achieve a high level of academic accomplishment that is supported by Christian principles that the students themselves have chosen. We hope you will participate in our regular worship services at the church and in the school because we are proud of our connections to St. Mary's Church. We hope that as your child starts their journey with us at St. Mary's, your relationship with us will deepen and that you, as parents and carers, will actively participate in both your child's education and the overall life of the school. Together, we can make sure that your child will succeed academically, emotionally, and socially, and that they will always feel secure, content, and fulfilled. If you need any additional information, don't hesitate to get in touch with the school.
